Based on a true crime figure, this is "Sampson's" origin story, based on the true crime/horror short story, "Gumdrop City", by JZ Murdock.

In this macabre, short film noir, an armorer for a criminal (or government agency, or both?) struggles with severe traumas from his distant past as his clients suffer his present. Is he haunted, or "haunted"?
